E-mail policy

Readers can e-mail me at notnurseratched AT gmail DOT com. I actually don’t like e-mail that much, but I do like reader commentary (unless trollish) and questions, so please feel free to keep those coming. Or, you know, comment on a post or two. That’s cool.

DON’T e-mail if you’re asking to guest-post or advertise or get on my blogroll (in exchange for any of the cockamamie ideas I’ve heard throughout the year). If you do any of those things, I will be annoyed that I have to delete your e-mail, and then if you’ve ignored me thus far I’ll probably be annoyed again that I’ll have to read your follow-up e-mail as well, because you’ll assume you’re a special case and you’ll e-mail me multiple times.

No, I do not want to post a link for your special cause (if I do, I’ll have found it myself and will have posted it). No, I do not want to post anything you’ve written (start your own blog, and if I like it, I’ll refer to it). No, I do not want to post an ad for your widget I’ve never even seen in exchange for a quarter or so in revenue.

Seriously.

Finally (and this needs to be said, sadly), do not repeatedly break any or all of these rules and then send me multiple e-mails asking why I am not responding to you. Because…I won’t respond.
