But seriously, Steve brings up obvious and logical points (ones I've mentioned myself elsewhere in this very blog), other than the truly unnecessary name-calling. Fact is, I just think this stuff is fun, and it's fun in time frames that I can slide into an otherwise breakneck life. I can't really find the harm in it. Our society is arguably broken, and I'm not going to fix it single-handedly. Otherwise stated, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." Yeah right! Those of you that think that you are connected by using e-mails, blogs, text messaging, etc. ad nasuem really aren't. Sorry to break it to ya, but you folks are just kidding yourselves. You are just a bunch of observers of life. If you were really connceted; you wouldn't have the time to do any of those things. I'm afraid that you have substituted busyness and instant messaging for a "feeling" of togetherness. Sigh, and the sad thing is...this is like singing to a bunch of deaf mutes.
